Lexington Green residents: the Board has been made aware of the increasing number of traffic violations that are occurring on our roads. Though some of these violations are clearly coming from delivery drivers and people passing through, there are a number of residents and visitors to our community who are ignoring stop signs, speeding, or refusing pedestrian right of way.
There are a number of children, pets, families, and walkers in our neighborhood, especially during the autumn months. Speeding, either through an intersection or on our roads, puts people at risk. There is no excuse for this irresponsible and unneighborly behavior.
All residents are urged to report (with photos or videos) evidence of fellow residents speeding. If you are caught speeding or not stopping at the stop signs posted on our streets, you will be fined.
Please stop this irresponsible behavior. It takes all of us to keep our community safe.
