Our apologies for the frequent communication – but there sure has been a lot happening in our community these days!
Though the heat has been truly bearing down on us lately, we have new visitors with us in Lexington Green this summer! Though some might find them to be understandably unbearable – black bears have indeed found their way into (and on!) Lexington Green.
Though I couldn’t revisit the opportunity to make a pun – truly, please keep an eye out on your pets and little ones. The bear that was spotted last week made itself quite comfortable on the Green and in backyards during the early evening hours. Remember to make noise when walking around and to pay attention to your surroundings. Please do not approach the bear, do not feed the bear, and remove/secure all food related items in your yard and around your house – that includes garbage cans and even bird feeders!
