Happy Halloween, Lexington Green homeowners! It’s that special time of year again when many hundreds of people from the surrounding area descend upon our neighborhood for trick-or-treating fun. While many of our residents look forward to this special tradition, there are always logistical challenges with the sheer amount of people and parked cars.

This year, Halloween is on a Friday. Assuming good weather, please expect SIGNIFICANT disruption and traffic  – even more than the usual amount!

As we prepare to welcome new families to our neighborhood, please take note that a police officer will be present on both the 30th and the 31st to help us keep everyone safe and maintain access to all of our houses in the event of an emergency.

Unless absolutely necessary, please avoid being on the roads between 4pm and 9pm on Halloween night. If you cannot, please exercise caution, drive slowly, and obey all posted speed limits and signs (which you should be doing anyway).

Under no circumstances are commercial or landscaping vehicles allowed during Halloween events.

Together, we can make our special community a welcoming and safe place for all!
